The encuentro is in San Lazzaro, about 9 km from the centre, and the hotel is not perfectly connected to downtown. That is why we suggest a few relaxed stops, close to each other and without climbs, so you still have energy to dance in the afternoon. A guided visit is also planned for Saturday morning (programme to be confirmed).

Piazza Maggiore, the Basilica of San Petronio and the Fountain of Neptune are a few steps from each other, all on the flat: perfect for an hour's stroll.

The lanes behind Piazza Maggiore, full of food shops and taverns: stop for tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini in broth or a plate of mortadella.

Piazza Santo Stefano, with its Seven Churches, and a walk under the porticoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site: quiet, intimate places.
